The Lilydale High School Gallery of Achievement, acknowledges those alumni who have demonstrated outstanding contribution, success, achievement and/or service in one or more of the following fields of endeavour:  professional life, sporting pursuits or working in the community.

The selection panel is made up of past and current staff and community members.

On Friday 6 December, during the Gallery of Achievement induction ceremony, the following alumni were nominated for our Gallery of Achievement.

During the induction, each inductee received a certificate from Deputy Premier and Minister for Education, The Hon. James Merlino and a LHS Centenary bag from our School Captains.

CELEBRATING 100 YEARS

Lauren Celebrating 100 Years (1919 - 2019)

2nd May, 2019  – LHS opened

One hundred years ago, Lilydale High School OPENED as Lilydale Elementary School in a small building in Clarke Street, Lilydale.

To celebrate of 100 year, the following events took place during 2019;

Monday 11 February

Whole School Assembly with Birthday cake

Saturday 30 March

Commencement Dinner (Karralyka Centre, Ringwood)

Sunday 31 March

Centenary School Tour and Morning Tea

Thursday 2 May

School’s Birthday

  • Music students to sing existing school song
  • Drone photo (Periods 1 and 2)
  • Year 11 Business Management Market Day

Saturday 18 May

School Open Day – 10 am to 3 pm

  • Opening of LHS Mural
  • Rooms by decade

Friday 6 Decenber

Book Launch & Gallery of Achievement Induction – 11.30 am

  • Lilydale High School Book – $40
  • Light luncheon served after proceedings
