Each subject occupies two periods per week and runs for a term each.  This enables students to experience a good cross-section of available Technologies.

Years 9 and 10

Students are required to participate in at least one Technology subject throughout the year.  Students are free to elect more than one subject if they wish.  At Lilydale High School, all Year 10 students have the opportunity to commence the first two units of a VCE subject.

Years 11 and 12

Each study is made up of four units.  It is encouraged that Technology students elect Units 1 and 2 prior to Units 3 and 4.

Technology subjects offered at VCE include:

  • Food Technology
  • Systems Engineering
  • Applied Computing
  • Product Design and Technology (Wood)
  • Product Design and Technology (Textiles)
