Is Lilydale High School zoned?

I live outside of Lilydale High Schools zone. Can I still put your school as a preference?
Yes, you can. Once you have completed your application form, your child’s Primary School will forward your application to your preferred local High School. If a space is available, the school will accept your child’s placement. If your first preference is not accepted, your form will be sent on to your second and then third preference. If your preferred schools are unable to accept your child’s application, they will be sent to your neighbourhood school.

Yes, regardless of capping restrictions, if you reside within the Find my School zone, you will be provided an enrolment at Lilydale High School.
How do I enrol at LHS?
Government Primary School – Grade 6 students will receive a package from your Primary School towards the end of Term 1 or early Term 2. Please complete this application and send it back to your Primary School.
Once you have completed your application form, your child’s Primary School will forward your application to your preferred local High School. Non-Government / Independent Primary Schools – Families may apply directly to Lilydale High School (or on most occasions, their Primary School will manage the forms). Please check with your Primary School first before submitting your application to us.
What does a usual day at Lilydale High School like?
We recommend students arrive at school around 8:30 am to get ready for their morning classes. Period 1 begins at 8:40 am. We have 5 periods in a day with a 30-minute recess and a 45-minute lunch break, and we finish school at 2:55 pm.
