Extra Curricular Programs

There are many opportunities waiting for students beyond the classroom at Lilydale High School. We encourage all students to get involved, try something new, and take full advantage of the wide range of camps, excursions, clubs, sporting teams and performance experiences.

Some of the extracurricular opportunities include:

The Student Representative Council
The annual Lilydale High School Production, drawing on students from all year levels and their many talents from performance to front of house.
Interschool Sports teams across a variety of sports and available to all year levels.
Learning an instrument and the many bands and performances that are presented to the school and community
Lunchtime clubs such as Gym, Science Club, Gaming and Chess Clubs, Clay Club and Art Club
The Zoo Keeper program provides students with the opportunity to actively participate in the care and maintenance of reptile collection, learning many animal husbandry skills, as well as building their confidence in speaking with the community on open nights and during presentations.

Camps & Excursions

In addition to year level camps, Lilydale High School offers a number of opportunities for students to participate in enriching experiences outside of the classroom. Students are regularly invited to participate in excursions which are reflective of their curriculum studies or engage them in their passions and interests. Our students regularly travel to many parts of Australia, as well as participate in International Tours. These are valuable opportunities to build relationships with peers and teachers, challenge yourself and learn more about the world around you.
