Application Process

The following documents should be downloaded, completed and returned to the school by, Tuesday 19 May, 2020.

In addition, to maximise your child’s opportunity for an interview, the following supporting material must be included:

  • A copy of the Grade 5 NAPLAN results
  • A copy of the most recent school report available

Please do not send originals as documents will not be returned.

Payment

The cost of the test is $30.  Payment should be made on-line (a small booking fee will apply) by Tuesday 19 May, 2020.  Registration will not be completed unless payment is made by this date.

Testing Day: UPDATE as of Tuesday 24 March, 2020

This year SEAL applicants will complete the testing component of the application at home.  Test packs will be posted directly to families for students to complete in timed exam conditions.  Instructions for the administration of the tests will be included in the packs.

PLEASE NOTE: Parents/Guardians will still need to complete the online application.

Interview: UPDATE as of Tuesday 24 March, 2020

Invitations for an interview will be posted to families.  This will include information regarding the details of how interviews will be conducted in 2020.

A personal interview with the student is one of the selection criteria and is required for final acceptance into the program.

Those students invited for an interview may also bring further documentation on the day, such as portfolios of work (stories, assignments etc) and certificates of achievement (academic competitions, sporting competitions etc).
