Creative writing, or writing ‘stories’ is only one of the many styles we encourage students to explore and experiment with. Students may like to include the following writing styles in the Writing Folio. This list of suggestions is by no means exhaustive, therefore, if students wish to write in a style that is not listed, it can be discussed with the teacher.

  • Poetry – Note – you must write five smaller poems (i.e. Limericks and Haikus) for one Writing Folio piece
