Thank you for those who shared in our 100 year celebrations on Saturday 30 March. It was fantastic to meet so many of you and to hear your fabulous recollections of your time at Lilydale High School.  BIG thanks to our interstate visitors who travelled from far and wide to share in our event.

Thanks also to those that were able to attend the School Tour and Morning Tea on Sunday. We were so pleased to be able to show you how the school has progressed and changed over the years.

Just a reminder about our Open Day that will be held on Saturday 18 May at the school: there will be displays from the different faculties and decades that Lilydale High School has been in operation, inductions into the Hall of Fame and the opening of the Lilydale High School Mural.   We would love to see you on the day.

The day will also include;

  • Reptile House Show
  • Musical Performances
  • School Tours
  • Steamworks in action
  • Library display – School Salamanders
  • Devonshire Tea
  • Cake stall
  • Sausage sizzle
  • Fairy Floss
  • Food Trucks
  • And  more

On the Open Day, commemorative bottles of Lilydale High School Centenary Wine that have been produced by Many Hands Winery will be available for purchase.  The Chardonnay and Shiraz are available for $20 a bottle or two bottles for $50 with a set of commemorative stemless wine glasses.  We are so excited to have paired with a local Yarra Valley business to showcase their wine and to celebrate our centenary.  You can find additional details about Many Hands here: http://www.manyhandswinery.com.au/

In addition to the wine, commemorative badges, pens and Centenary Keep Cups (reusable and environmentally friendly coffee cups) will also be available for purchase on the Open Day.

We would love to see you again on the Open Day, as so many of you have shared wonderful stories about your families, the teachers and students of the school.  It was great to hear about  so many lovely memories that you have of the school and we would love for you to share more memories with us.
