Please read the following information before completing the online application.
The following documents should be downloaded, completed and returned to the school by Tuesday May 15, 2018. Failure to return these forms may adversely affect your child’s application.
In addition, to maximise your child’s opportunity for interview, the following supporting material must be included:
- A copy of the Grade 5 NAPLAN results
- A copy of the most recent school report available
Please note: do not send originals as documents will not be returned.
Those students invited for an interview may also bring further documentation on the day, such as portfolios of work (stories, assignments etc) and certificates of achievement (academic competitions, sporting competitions etc).
The cost of the test is $30. Payment should be made on-line (a small booking fee will apply).
Please note that payment must be made by Tuesday, May 15. Registration will not be completed unless payment is made by this date.
What to do on Testing Day (Friday May, 18)
Testing will take place at the school. Testing will start at 9.15 am, so students will need to be at the school before then.
Please bring your child to the School Office, where they will be met and escorted to the test room. It is anticipated that testing will finish 12.15 pm – 12.30 pm, so students may be collected from the School Office at that time.
As the test will take about two and a half hours to administer, the student should bring a snack and a drink, as well as grey lead pencils and an eraser. Students should also bring a book to read if they finish a test early. Electronic devices are not permitted.
Invitations for interview will be sent out in late June early July. A personal interview with the student is one of the selection criteria and is required for final acceptance into the program.
